The Manchester Historic Association's Millyard Museum is housed in Mill No. 3 in the historic Manchester Mills. The museum traces 1,000 years of Manchester history. The story starts with the Native Americans who fished at Amoskeag Falls. It continues through the early farmers and craftsmen to the thousands of workers who made the Amoskeag Manufacturing Company the world's largest manufacturer of cotton textiles. The story concludes in the 21st century, as new businesses flourish in the Millyard and new groups of immigrants come to Manchester to live and work. Plus new exhibits, special features, lectures and events.
