Kittery, ME

A rocky area precedes a small sandy area at Seapoint Beach, perhaps the most hidden beaches in South Coastal Maine. There is very limited parking and key spots are for Kittery Residents only, but no parking fee for those that squeeze in. Best reached by bike following a long ride along scenic Route 103. Dogs must be leashed during daytime hours. Unauthorized vehicles are ticketed. The area leading up to the beach includes protected land in the Rachel Carson preserve with walking trails and Fort Foster Park is nearby on Gerrish Island for walking and picnicking (see separate listings).

HOURS: Parking monitored daylight hours

ADMISSION: Free
ADDRESS: Kittery Point Kittery, ME 03802
DIRECTIONS: From 103 along Kittery Point head North and watch for signs at Gerrish Island and Chauncey Creek
